Overview
- Toyota detailed portfolio-wide reductions effective Sept. 22, including Hilux cuts up to Rs 2.53 lakh, Camry by about Rs 1.02 lakh, Vellfire by Rs 2.57 lakh, and the Land Cruiser LC300 ZX lower by Rs 15.40 lakh.
- Lexus announced across-the-board price drops, led by the LX 500d down by up to Rs 20.80 lakh and the LM 350h by Rs 5.77 lakh, with ES, NX and RX variants also reduced.
- Maruti Suzuki revised ex-showroom prices on its SUVs from Sept. 22, with the Fronx cheaper by up to Rs 1.11 lakh, Brezza by Rs 30,000–48,000, Jimny by Rs 44,000–52,000, Grand Vitara by up to Rs 68,000 and Invicto by Rs 54,000–61,000.
- Segment roundups show compact SUVs such as Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet and Tata Nexon down by roughly Rs 68,000 to Rs 1.64 lakh, midsize models like Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos lower by up to Rs 75,000, and full-size SUVs including Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq and MG Gloster cut by as much as Rs 3.49 lakh.
- Dealers expect a strong festive-season uplift starting Sept. 22, with Mahindra already applying benefits from Sept. 6 and Maruti Nexa offering additional booking discounts through Sept. 20.
