- Carlos Febles, previously a second baseman for Kansas City from 1998 to 2003, has been hired as the Toronto Blue Jays' third base coach, replacing the retired Luis Rivera.
- Prior to joining the Blue Jays, Febles spent 17 seasons coaching in the Boston Red Sox organization, including a stint as Boston’s third base coach from 2018 to 2023.
- Throughout his tenure with the Red Sox, Febles managed more than 900 games in Boston’s minor league system and served as an infield instructor starting in 2017.
- The Blue Jays have expanded the role of bench coach Don Mattingly, a former New York Yankees captain and Los Angeles Dodgers and Miami manager, to include offensive coordinator duties.
- Mattingly was initially hired as Toronto’s bench coach in November 2022 and will now leverage his extensive experience to oversee the team's offensive strategy.
