The Minnesota Twins activate All-Star shortstop Carlos Correa after a two-month absence due to plantar fasciitis.

Carlos Correa has been sidelined since July 12 with plantar fasciitis in his right foot and missed 51 games.
Correa, hitting .308 with 13 home runs and 47 RBIs this season, will be in the lineup for the second game against the Cincinnati Reds.
The Twins also recently reinstated center fielder Byron Buxton, who hit a home run in his first game back.
Manager Rocco Baldelli indicated both Correa and Buxton will be managed on a game-to-game basis due to their injury histories.
The Twins currently hold a 2.5-game lead over the Detroit Tigers for the final AL wild-card spot.
