Carlos Alcaraz defeated Alex de Minaur 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 to win the Rotterdam Open, marking his 17th ATP singles title and first on an indoor court.
The 21-year-old Spaniard became the first Spanish player to win the Rotterdam Open in its 52-year history.
De Minaur, despite the loss, will rise to a career-high No. 6 in the ATP rankings after his strong performance in Rotterdam.
In Dallas, Denis Shapovalov claimed his third career ATP singles title and first at the ATP 500 level with a 7-6(5), 6-3 win over Casper Ruud.
Shapovalov's victory included defeating all of the tournament's top three seeds, including Taylor Fritz and Tommy Paul, en route to the title.
