Carli Lloyd Headlines 2024 National Soccer Hall of Fame Inductees
The two-time FIFA Player of the Year joins Chris Armas, Nick Rimando, Mary Harvey, and Mark Abbott in the Hall of Fame class to be inducted on May 3.
- Carli Lloyd, a two-time World Cup and Olympic champion, was elected in her first year of eligibility after a storied 19-year career with the U.S. Women’s National Team.
- Lloyd’s career highlights include 134 international goals, second-most in U.S. women’s history, and a historic hat trick in the 2015 World Cup final.
- Joining Lloyd in the 2024 class are Chris Armas, a former U.S. defender and MLS coach, and Nick Rimando, a longtime MLS goalkeeper with 22 U.S. caps.
- Mary Harvey, a 1991 Women’s World Cup-winning goalkeeper, and Mark Abbott, a foundational MLS executive, were also selected for the Hall of Fame.
- The induction ceremony is scheduled for May 3, 2025, at the National Soccer Hall of Fame in Frisco, Texas.
