Carl Edwards Joins Amazon Prime Video as NASCAR Analyst After Nearly a Decade Away

The Hall of Famer and former driver will debut in the broadcast studio during the Coca-Cola 600 on May 25, marking his return to the sport in a new capacity.

Carl Edwards, who retired from NASCAR in 2016, will return as a pre- and post-race studio analyst for Amazon Prime Video's NASCAR coverage.
His broadcasting debut will take place during the Coca-Cola 600 on May 25, with additional races scheduled through June 22, including events in Nashville, Michigan, Mexico City, and Pocono.
Edwards declined Kyle Larson's offer to drive the #5 car in the All-Star Race, citing his lack of experience with the next-gen cars introduced in 2022.
Amazon Prime Video's NASCAR broadcast team will also feature Dale Earnhardt Jr., Steve Letarte, Corey LaJoie, and a trio of experienced pit reporters.
Edwards expressed excitement about sharing insights into the sport and engaging with fans, emphasizing his goal to bring authenticity and depth to the broadcasts.
