Cardinals' Injured QB Kyler Murray Still on PUP List; Rookie Clayton Tune to Make First NFL Start Against Browns

Kyler Murray, the Cardinals' star quarterback, remains on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list as he continues to recover from a torn ACL sustained in Week 14 of the 2022 season.
Despite full participation in practice for the past two weeks, Murray will require more time to achieve full health. The Cardinals are not in hurry for his return and expected him to make his season debut at home in Week 10 against the Atlanta Falcons.
Josh Dobbs, who served as the Cardinals' starter in Murray's absence, was traded to the Minnesota Vikings on Tuesday, paving the way for rookie Clayton Tune.
Clayton Tune, a fifth-round draft pick out of the University of Houston, will make his first-ever NFL start against the Browns on Sunday. In the preseason, he showed promise, demonstrating poise and calmness on the field.
The Browns, whom Tune and the Cardinals will face, boast the top-ranked defense in yards allowed with a formidable pass rush led by defensive tackle Myles Garrett.
