Cardinals and Braves to Play Doubleheader After Rain Postponement

Friday's game at Truist Park was postponed due to persistent rain, rescheduled as part of a split doubleheader on Saturday.

The first game will start at 1 p.m. ET, followed by the second at 7:20 p.m. ET.
Charlie Morton and Bryce Elder will pitch for Atlanta; Kyle Gibson and Sonny Gray for St. Louis.
This is the third doubleheader for the Cardinals this month due to rainouts.
Both teams are vying for top positions in their respective divisions.
Atlanta's Spencer Schwellenbach will now pitch in Sunday's series finale.
