Overview

  • Ty Glas station in Cardiff will close for 10 months until spring 2026 to install five Class 756 tri-mode trains and a new level crossing.
  • Deighton station in Huddersfield will shut from August 30, 2025, to 2027 for extended platforms, two extra tracks and a step-free footbridge as part of its rebuild.
  • Huddersfield station will undergo a 30-day closure from August 30 to September 28, 2025, to remodel platforms and replace an arch on the viaduct.
