Overview

• Officers were called about 8am to the Fullerton Street property in Woollahra over reports of an unauthorised vehicle in the driveway.
• Police say they tried to speak with the driver before he allegedly drove through the gates and onto the consulate grounds.
• A 39-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Surry Hills Police Station to assist with inquiries.
• A 24-year-old police constable sustained a hand injury and was treated by NSW Ambulance, with no other injuries reported.
• Images show the car came to a stop on the lawn near a flagpole as NSW Police said inquiries into the incident are continuing.
