  • Leaders identified the ‘Carlos Patiño’ column and the Frente 36 of the EMC as responsible elements, with earlier conflicting claims about possible involvement of the Clan del Golfo still under review.
  • President Gustavo Petro urged that EMC dissidents, Segunda Marquetalia and the Clan del Golfo be designated terrorist organizations and said legal action would be pursued against their leaders internationally.
