Capitol Police Discover Cocaine Bag in Headquarters Hallway

Investigation underway after small bag of cocaine found in a busy area used for storage and processing offices.

A one-inch-by-one-inch bag containing a white powdery substance was found on the second floor of the US Capitol Police headquarters.
The substance tested positive for cocaine and was discovered in a hallway frequented by contractors and employees.
The area is close to offices handling prisoner processing, crime scene investigations, and intelligence reports.
Capitol Police are conducting further residue and DNA tests to identify the source of the cocaine.
The incident follows a similar discovery of cocaine at the White House less than a year ago.
