Capitals’ Dylan Strome Ruled Out Against Senators With Lower-Body Injury

Strome was injured 3:34 into the first period on a power play after being tripped by Artem Zub and colliding into the boards with Jakob Chychrun.
He stayed down for about a minute and was helped off the ice by John Carlson and Chychrun while favoring his left leg.
Strome briefly returned with 7:57 left in the first period, took two short shifts, then headed to the locker room.
Capitals PR announced at the start of the second period that Strome sustained a lower-body injury and would not return.
He had 10 points through nine games to start the season, ranking second on the team behind Tom Wilson.
