Resident Evil Re:Verse, a multiplayer spin-off bundled with Resident Evil Village, will be delisted from digital storefronts on March 3, 2025.
The game will officially cease operations and become unplayable on June 29, 2025, with no offline functionality available.
Capcom stated that Re:Verse was created to celebrate the Resident Evil series' 25th anniversary and has 'served its original, celebratory purpose admirably.'
The game faced criticism from players for its lack of content, technical issues, and aggressive microtransactions, resulting in low user scores and limited engagement.
Players who purchased in-game content will not receive refunds, and the game will no longer be included with new purchases of Resident Evil Village.
