Canucks Trade Tucker Poolman and Draft Pick for Erik Brannstrom

The Vancouver Canucks traded Tucker Poolman and a 2025 fourth-round draft pick to the Colorado Avalanche for defenseman Erik Brannstrom.
Brannstrom, a 25-year-old Swede, was the 15th overall pick in the 2017 NHL Draft and recently signed a one-year deal with Colorado.
Tucker Poolman, 31, has been sidelined due to migraines and neurological issues since October 2022 and is expected to miss the 2024-25 season.
The Canucks will retain 20% of Poolman's $3 million salary as part of the trade agreement.
