- City council approved a deal with the cruise terminal operator to allow only one giant ship per day and ban simultaneous arrivals in Cannes bay

- Starting in 2030, Cannes aims to host exclusively smaller ships with a maximum capacity of 1,300 passengers to reduce environmental impact
