Overview
- Held on September 27, the first Fórum Jove gathered over 50 young people and will convene each year to guide municipal youth policy.
- Participants are tasked with evaluating how much of the I Plan de Juventud has been executed and with proposing updates to it.
- Youth priorities included stronger action against bullying and cyberbullying, improved mental health support, prevention of discrimination and gender inequality, and measures against alcohol abuse.
- Calls for emancipation support centered on easier access to housing, more vocational and employment guidance, coworking or business incubators, and a larger Espai Jove.
- Proposals were displayed as posters at the Espai Jove for public visibility, complementing input from the Local Council for Childhood and Adolescence that began meeting in February.
