Candice Bergen’s Husband, Marshall Rose, Dies at 88

The real estate developer and philanthropist passed away from Parkinson's complications shortly before their 25th wedding anniversary.

Marshall Rose, husband of actress Candice Bergen, died peacefully at home on February 15, surrounded by family.
Rose, 88, was a prominent New York City real estate developer and philanthropist, known for projects like the Madison Square Garden renovation and the Frank Gehry IAC building.
He served on the New York Public Library’s board for 30 years, with his family requesting donations to its adult literacy programs in his honor.
Rose is survived by Bergen, her daughter Chloe, his two children Wendi and Andrew, and six grandchildren.
Bergen, who was previously married to filmmaker Louis Malle, described her marriage to Rose as one of deep trust and companionship.
