Bure's latest film, 'My Christmas Hero', premieres the day after Thanksgiving and stars Bure as an Army reserve doctor on a mission to honor a fallen soldier.
The film was screened at Joint Army and Air Force Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) in Washington state, where the film is set, as a gesture of appreciation for service members.
Bure and Great American Family CEO Bill Abbott have been working closely since Bure became the channel’s chief creative officer last year.
Another 'Full House' alum, Lori Loughlin, is joining the network with a new movie titled 'Christmas Blessing'.
