• The boys were shot around 3:45 p.m. Thursday in a vacant lot on the 600 block of West 47th Street on Chicago’s South Side.
• Police identified the 15-year-old who died as Alex Durante, and the 12-year-old remains in critical condition at Comer Children's Hospital.
