Canada to Host Hungary in 2025 Davis Cup First-Round Qualifier

The tie, set for late January or early February, marks the first-ever Davis Cup meeting between the two nations.

Canada, ranked third globally, will face Hungary, ranked 22nd, in the 2025 Davis Cup first-round qualifier.
The matches will include two singles matches on Day 1, followed by a doubles match and two singles matches on Day 2.
The venue, team rosters, and playing surface for the tie will be announced later by Tennis Canada.
Winners of the first-round qualifier advance to the 14-team second-round qualifier in September, with a chance to reach the Final 8 in November.
This is the first Davis Cup meeting between Canada, the 2022 champions, and Hungary, who qualified by defeating Egypt in World Group 1 play.
