Overview

• The Canada Strong Pass runs from June 20 to September 2 and provides free admission for children 17 and under plus 50% discounts for 18- to 24-year-olds at national museums, parks and on select rail fares.
• National galleries and museums have recorded an approximate 15% overall increase in attendance this summer linked to the program.
• July data show a 16% attendance rise at the Canadian Museum of History and War Museum, a 24% jump at the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum and gains between 4% and 13% at other national institutions.
• Via Rail has logged over 36,000 bookings through the pass, with more than 13,000 trips on the Montreal–Toronto route.
• Parks Canada expects elevated visitation from free admission but will publish comprehensive 2025 park statistics after the season concludes.
