- Recipients can receive up to $200 per month, for a maximum of $2,400 annually, to supplement existing provincial and territorial supports.
- The government has committed $6.1 billion over six years plus $1.4 billion ongoing to extend assistance to more than 600,000 low-income Canadians with disabilities.
- Applications will be available online, by phone or in person at Service Canada offices, with community organizations providing navigation services and a new online benefit estimator tool.
