- Canada wrapped a three-day orientation in Calgary that brought together 92 athletes from the men’s, women’s and para programs to align plans and cover Olympic logistics, with NHL invitees not taking the ice.
- Six players are already named to the men’s roster: Connor McDavid, Sidney Crosby, Sam Reinhart, Nathan MacKinnon, Brayden Point and Cale Makar.
- Goaltending remains unsettled, with Jordan Binnington, Adin Hill and Sam Montembeault attending camp and other candidates under evaluation from Oct. 7 to Jan. 1.
