Overview

  • Can-Am says the Outlander Electric tows up to 1,830 pounds, the most of any ATV according to the company.
  • The in-house Rotax E-Power drivetrain delivers 47 hp and 53 lb-ft with a two-speed transmission, 4WD with an auto-locking front differential, and Normal, Sport, and Work modes.
  • An 8.9 kWh battery targets about 50 miles of range and charges from 20% to 80% in roughly 50 minutes on a Level 2 charger, or to full in about 1.5 hours.
  • Noise-reducing tires, a low-noise cooling system, and tuned suspension aim for quiet operation suited to farming, hunting, and park work.
  • BRP is also rolling out an Outlander Max 6x6, a Maverick R X rc rock-crawler, and the first ATV Smart-Shox semi-active suspension, with the Outlander Electric backed by a five-year battery warranty.
