• The finalists are The Blackfriars Tavern (Great Yarmouth), The Pelican Inn (Gloucester), The Tamworth Tap (Tamworth) and The Volunteer Arms, known as Staggs (Musselburgh).
• Judges are assessing the pubs now, with the winner scheduled to be announced at the start of 2026.
• Evaluation focuses on ambience, welcome, service, accessibility and the quality of cask ale, authentic cider and perry.
• The Blackfriars Tavern was recently named CAMRA’s Cider and Perry Pub of the Year after a post‑pandemic revival, and The Tamworth Tap is a two‑time national winner from 2022 and 2023.
• The Pelican Inn is a Grade II-listed, family-run pub supported by Wye Valley Brewery since 2012, and The Volunteer Arms has been in the same family for over a century and previously won in 1998.
