Campbell’s CEO Mark Clouse Named Washington Commanders President
Clouse will step down from Campbell’s after six years to lead the NFL team’s business operations starting in January.
- Mark Clouse, CEO of The Campbell’s Company since 2019, will leave the role on January 31, 2025, to become president of the Washington Commanders.
- Clouse will oversee the Commanders’ business operations and report directly to team owner Josh Harris, but will not be involved in football operations.
- Mick Beekhuizen, currently president of Campbell’s meals and beverages division, will succeed Clouse as CEO starting February 1, 2025.
- Under Clouse’s leadership, Campbell’s expanded its portfolio beyond soup, including the $2.7 billion acquisition of Rao’s pasta sauces, and rebranded as The Campbell’s Company.
- The Commanders, with an 8-5 record this season, have seen organizational changes since Harris’ ownership, including new leadership and plans for a potential new stadium.
