Overview
- Officers received a report just after 3 a.m. that a forklift was dragging an ATM across McCartney Road while a silver Ford F-150 followed.
- While responding, an officer crashed at Coitsville Road and 12th Street, disabling the patrol car with no injuries reported.
- Police found an ATM and a forklift behind a pavilion at Four Seasons Flea and Farm Market as the F-150 sped off, struck a fence, and kept going.
- A Moore Avenue resident later reported the F-150 in his backyard and saw three people run from it, and a K-9 search lost the scent near Park Drive.
- Investigators say the F-150 had been reported stolen in Trumbull County and the forklift was also stolen, and Huntington Bank says it is cooperating.
