Overview

  • On July 12 at Monte-Carlo’s 76th Red Cross Gala, Gottlieb unveiled a custom black-and-white gown directly inspired by Grace Kelly’s iconic Alfred Hitchcock wardrobe.
  • She partnered with Italian designer Elisabetta Franchi to integrate a plunging neckline, high slit on the tulle skirt and silver waist embellishments into the classic silhouette.
  • By appearing alongside Prince Albert, Princess Charlene, Louis Ducruet and Marie Chevallier, Gottlieb reinforced her place within the Monégasque royal circle.
  • This marked her third consecutive homage at the annual gala, following tributes to Kelly’s Dial M for Murder costume last year and her High Society look two years ago.
  • Gottlieb said she has watched all of her grandmother’s films and selected this Hitchcock ensemble to both honor Kelly’s legacy and define her own public identity.
