He chose Miami over offers from top programs like Ohio State, Penn State, and Tennessee.
During his sophomore year, Portis recorded 18 tackles, 10 pass breakups, and two interceptions.
His father, Clinton Portis, was a standout running back for Miami, winning a national championship in 2001 before a successful NFL career.
Camdin is the third player to commit to Miami's 2026 class under head coach Mario Cristobal.
