Overview
- More than 1,000 suspects were arrested in raids across Phnom Penh, Sihanoukville, Poipet and other provinces between July 14 and 16.
- Detained individuals include over 200 Vietnamese, 27 Chinese, 75 Taiwanese, 270 Indonesians and 85 Cambodians.
- Police seized computers and hundreds of mobile phones from multiple scam sites.
- Authorities say operations were run by Chinese organised crime groups using forced labour, torture and child exploitation.
