- Caltrans crews finished the final Memorial Day weekend repave ahead of schedule, reopening northbound lanes around 2:30 a.m. and southbound lanes after 6 a.m. on Monday so traffic could flow sooner than planned.
- The project covered roughly 18.8 lane miles of State Route 1 on 19th Avenue and used weekend closures that closed two lanes while keeping one lane open for transit, emergency access and local traffic.
