Overview
- The mode launches with Season 02 Reloaded on March 12 at 9 p.m. PT (March 13 at midnight ET/5 a.m. GMT).
- Matches field 100 players as 25 four-person squads on Avalon, with quads-only available at launch.
- Core rules remove loadouts, the Gulag and Buy Stations, introduce an all-new ballistics model with more pronounced bullet drop, and emphasize ground-loot weapon archetypes upgraded by attachment kits alongside consumable Perks and the C‑Link HUD.
- Avalon is adapted from Black Ops 7’s Endgame with reduced water and new land links, and it features optional Cradle Breaches that cause hallucinations and enable a Mangler boss fight for top-tier rewards.
- Respawns rely on Redeploy Tokens and capture-based Redeploy Towers, the mode is free within Warzone using only Black Ops 7 weapons and equipment, and Activision says it will evolve over time.
