In response to calls for more female representation, the popular game is set to expand its roster with characters from the Modern Warfare campaign.
- Dataminers have identified two new operators set to join Call of Duty: Warzone and Multiplayer 3, namely Kate Laswell and Milena Romanova, both characters from the Modern Warfare campaign.
- Kate Laswell, the handler of Team141, has previously been playable in a single mission of Modern Warfare 3, marking her debut in a multiplayer setting.
- Milena Romanova, a real-estate magnate and financier for the Konni Group, has been featured in multiple Call of Duty titles and her addition as an operator is yet to be confirmed.
- Fans have been calling for more female representation among the operators, and the addition of Laswell and potentially Romanova would address this.
- Raven, the game developer, has announced they will not roll out the controversial Covert Exfil feature after fans argued it has no place in a battle royale game.
