California Man Arrested in San Francisco for Allegedly Decapitating Female Relative in Santa Rosa

24-year-old Luis Aroyo-Lopez has been arrested in San Francisco less than two days after police responded to a call about a decapitated woman in Santa Rosa.
The victim, a female relative of Aroyo-Lopez, was discovered without her head at her home; authorities believe Aroyo-Lopez may still be in possession of it.
Aroyo-Lopez was identified as a suspect in the case following an initial investigation by the Santa Rosa Police Department's Violent Crimes Investigations team.
Prior to the arrest, Aroyo-Lopez was under post-release community supervision, having recently been released from state prison for assault with a deadly weapon and weapons possession charges unconnected to the victim.
