Overview
- A group of hunters located 55-year-old Ron Dailey on Saturday along the Swamp Lake Trail, according to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.
 - Deputies and rescue crews reached him and he was airlifted to a Clovis hospital, where doctors said he is expected to make a full recovery.
 - Dailey left for a one-day trip on Oct. 13; his disappearance prompted one of the Central Valley’s biggest recent search-and-rescue efforts with aid from Kern, Tulare and Kings counties.
 - He said his truck was damaged on Diamond Road and became his shelter, his food lasted about two weeks, and he set out on foot at roughly 10,000 feet.
 - During the trek he fell, lost his phone, went days without eating, and was given food and water by the hunters who found him; his family hoped for a hospital release Monday.
