California Greenhouse Gas Emissions Drop 2.4% in 2022

Despite the progress, California's emissions reductions are not on pace to meet 2030 climate targets.
Renewable energy sources now account for around 50% of California's electricity, contributing to a 2.6 million metric ton drop in electricity sector emissions.
