California congressional candidate resumes campaign after aide erroneously announced suspension

Aditya Pai, a Democratic candidate for California's 45th district, initially announced he was suspending his campaign due to a lack of joy.
Pai later said the suspension notice was sent in error by a former aide and that he was continuing his campaign.
Pai has replaced most of his campaign staff in an effort to reset the culture and focus more on service.
Pai is challenging Republican incumbent Michelle Steel for the competitive swing district seat.
The California primary election will take place in March before the November general election.
