California Assistant Principal Charged with Molesting Eight Elementary Students

David Lane Braff Jr. faces 17 felony counts for alleged abuse of children aged 6 to 10 while working as a school counselor from 2015 to 2019.

David Lane Braff Jr., 42, was arrested and charged with 17 felony counts of lewd acts involving eight elementary school students in Ventura County, California.
The alleged abuse occurred between 2015 and 2019 at McKevett Elementary School in Santa Paula, where Braff worked as a counselor.
Prosecutors allege the crimes involved planning and exploitation of the victims' vulnerability, shattering trust placed in him by parents and the community.
Braff was an assistant principal at Ingenium Charter Middle School in Winnetka at the time of his arrest and is believed to have worked at other Southern California schools and youth organizations.
He is being held in Ventura County jail on $3 million bail and is scheduled to appear in court for arraignment on Monday, November 25.
