Centre Cole Schwindt, 23, agreed to a one-year, two-way contract with the Flames.
Solovyov, from Mogilev, Belarus, made his NHL debut last season, recording three assists in 10 games for the Flames.
Schwindt, from Kitchener, Ontario, appeared in four games for the Flames last season and led the Calgary Wranglers in playoff goals.
Schwindt was acquired from the Florida Panthers in a 2022 trade involving Jonathan Huberdeau, MacKenzie Weegar, and Matthew Tkachuk.
