Calgary Flames part ways with GM Brad Treliving after 9 seasons

Calgary Flames and GM Brad Treliving have mutually agreed to part ways after nearly a decade.
Don Maloney has been promoted to president of hockey operations and interim GM.
A search for a full-time replacement for Treliving will begin immediately.
Treliving oversaw the Flames for seven years, reaching the playoffs five times but losing in the first round in most appearances.
The Flames struggled to replace All-Star wingers Johnny Gaudreau and Matthew Tkachuk, who both left the team.
