The 38-year-old defensive lineman, who considered retirement, decided to extend his career and return to the team where he spent his first nine NFL seasons.
Campbell is expected to play a rotational role on the Cardinals’ defensive line, bringing veteran leadership to a restructured unit aiming for a playoff push.
In 2024 with the Miami Dolphins, Campbell recorded five sacks, 12 tackles for loss, and led all defensive linemen with a 46% run-stop win rate.
The Dolphins and Ravens were reportedly interested in signing Campbell, but he chose to return to Arizona, where he began his career in 2008.
