Overview

  • Raleigh’s 50th came in the first inning against the Padres at T-Mobile Park, a 419-foot shot off left-hander JP Sears after an eight-pitch at-bat.
  • Two days earlier, he tied and then passed Salvador Perez’s catcher record by homering in the first two innings off the A’s Jacob Lopez, with Statcast measuring the blasts at 448 and 412 feet.
  • His Aug. 24 performance marked his ninth multi-homer game of 2025, setting a single-season record for a switch-hitter and surpassing Mickey Mantle’s eight in 1961.
  • Raleigh tops the majors in home runs and has driven in more than 100 runs, becoming the first catcher with consecutive 100-RBI seasons since Mike Piazza and the first in the AL since Thurman Munson.
  • He is the second Mariner to reach 50 homers in a season (joining Ken Griffey Jr.) and one of only two switch-hitters to do so, with Mantle achieving 50-plus twice.
