Discussions had explored a potential NBA-WNBA crossover event involving Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Sabrina Ionescu, and Clark, but it did not materialize.
Last year’s NBA vs. WNBA 3-point challenge featuring Curry and Ionescu was widely celebrated, but no similar event is scheduled for this year’s All-Star Weekend.
Sabrina Ionescu and NBA Commissioner Adam Silver expressed understanding of Clark’s decision, with Ionescu remaining hopeful for future collaborative contests.
