Overview

  • Unveiled on August 15 at The Quail during Monterey Car Week, the Elevated Velocity is an all-electric 2+2 crossover concept.
  • The vehicle blends on-road performance with off-road capability through electric all-wheel drive, adjustable air suspension, a lifted stance, 24-inch wheels and gull-wing doors.
  • Desert-focused innovations include Sand Vision for improved visibility in sandstorms and an Elements Defy mode that uses vibration to shed dust and dirt.
  • The cabin emphasizes wellness and autonomy with an Elevate mode that retracts the wheel and pedals, adds infrared light therapy and filters and perfumes air, supported by an AR head-up display.
  • Selectable modes cover different uses, including e‑Velocity for road driving, Terra for off-road terrain and features tailored for sandy conditions, with GM design chief Brian Nesbitt framing such concepts as a design compass.
