Cadillac Announces New Entry-Level EV, the Optiq

Cadillac has announced its new entry-level electric vehicle, a compact crossover named Optiq, which will be the fourth EV in its lineup.
The Optiq will slot below the current entry-level Lyriq midsize crossover EV, which starts around $59,000, but specific pricing and other details for the Optiq are yet to be disclosed.
The Optiq is expected to go on sale in the U.S. as early as next year and will be sold in North America, China, Europe and potentially other markets.
Cadillac continues to plan to exclusively offer EVs by 2030, despite slower-than-expected demand for the vehicles.
Details about the Optiq's size, performance, range, and other features will be unveiled next year.
