Overview
- The Union Cabinet approved the reworked scheme through March 31, 2030 with a Rs 7,332 crore allocation targeting 1.15 crore beneficiaries, including 50 lakh new entrants.
- Loan limits rise to Rs 15,000 for the first tranche and Rs 25,000 for the second, while the third tranche remains at Rs 50,000.
- Vendors who repay the second loan on time become eligible for a UPI‑linked RuPay credit card, with digital cashback incentives up to Rs 1,600 to encourage retail and wholesale transactions.
