C8 and NRJ12 Challenge Arcom's Decision to Revoke TNT Frequencies

The Council of State is set to decide next week on the appeal by C8 and NRJ12 against their exclusion from the 2025 frequency allocation.

C8 and NRJ12 have filed an appeal with the Council of State after being excluded from the upcoming TNT frequency reallocation by Arcom.
The public rapporteur of the Council of State suggested that the appeal might be premature as the selection process is not yet finalized.
C8, owned by Canal+ under Vincent Bolloré, has launched a petition gathering nearly 700,000 signatures to support its case.
Arcom's decision, announced in July, involves reallocating 15 television frequencies, excluding C8, NRJ12, and the web channel Le Média.
CNews, another Bolloré-owned channel, was recently fined €150,000 for broadcasting inaccurate statements, coinciding with C8's legal battle.
