• YouTube TV will carry C-SPAN, C-SPAN2 and C-SPAN3 in its base package beginning this fall.
• YouTube will sponsor C-SPAN’s coverage of the America250 celebrations next year.
• C-SPAN said its three channels will be included in Hulu + Live TV’s basic package under a multi-year agreement.
• The services will pay roughly 7.25 cents per subscriber per month, matching cable and satellite rates, and C-SPAN will keep its no-ad TV policy.
• Congress passed a spring resolution urging Alphabet and Disney to add C-SPAN as the network’s carriage-fee revenue fell to $45.4 million in 2023 from nearly $64 million in 2019.
