- On Aug. 29, Maharashtra Governor and NDA vice-presidential candidate C. P. Radhakrishnan visited the Shri Siddhivinayak Ganapati Temple in Mumbai for darshan.
- He performed traditional puja and aarti at the temple and was honoured with a shawl, the temple trust said.
- Temple trust officials Sadanand Sarvankar, Acharya Pawan Kumar Tripathi, Mahesh Mudaliar, Veena Patil and Sanjay Rathod formally received him in Prabhadevi.
- A day earlier, on Aug. 28, he offered prayers at the Lord Venkateswara temple in Tirumala, where TTD officials led by P. Narayana, B. R. Naidu and Venkaiah Chowdary received him.
- Following vedasirvachanams in Tirumala, TTD presented him with laddu, theertha prasadams and a memento, and he had also visited the Padmavati temple after arriving in the area on Aug. 27.
